EEG

EEG, or electroencephalography, is the measurement of electrical activity along the scalp. These measurements correspond to the ionic flow of neuronal activity in the brain. EEG, or biofeedback, has been noted as one of the best, effective, non-invasive, alternative treatments to medication. Each child is evaluated through brain-map imaging to measure these electrical waves.
Children with ADD, or ADHD, have been noted to have insufficient Beta waves. Through biofeedback from the computer, the children are observed to increase the production of Beta waves and retrain their brains to concentrate and attend.
